Operating Instructions

Read this entire notice before using this lamp.

Caution: The bulbs and lampshades will become hot during operation. Do not touch during or immediately after use. After operation, allow 20 to 30 minutes for the lamp to cool down before handling.

1. Place the Life-Brite IRed MAX Triple-Head Floor Lamp in a secure and convenient location near a power outlet.
2. Once the lamp is properly positioned, plug the power cord into a nearby electrical outlet.
3. Ensure the auxiliary knob located on top of each lamp head is in the ON position.
4. Using the in-line switch at the lamp base, adjust the intensity by rotating the dial clockwise until the desired level is reached. Rotate the dial counterclockwise to turn the lamp OFF.
5. Each IRed Floor Lamp head features a wire guard to protect and prevent accidental contact with the IRed Bulb. These guards should not be touched or removed while the lamp is in operation. Do not touch the lamp heads during or immediately after operation, as they will remain hot for a period of time after the lamp is turned off.
6. As a general guideline, carefully adjust the distance between each lamp head and the treatment area to produce a warm and comfortable feeling. Actual placement must be determined by user comfort. A minimum distance of 12 to 15 inches is recommended to avoid burn risk.

The Life-Brite IRed MAX Triple-Head Floor Lamp can be used with commonly available wall timers or Wi-Fi outlets.

Warnings

• Infrared radiation from this lamp causes surfaces to be heated. This lamp should never be placed closer than 12 inches to any person or surface. The user should feel slightly warm and comfortable after a few minutes under the light, not hot or uncomfortable.
• This lamp should not be used on infants, children, pregnant women, incapacitated persons, or sleeping or unconscious persons without constant supervision.
• Do not use over sensitive skin or those with conditions (such as diabetes) causing skin numbness or reduced ability to feel pain or temperature changes. These users should consult with a healthcare professional before use. Sufficient temperatures are generated that may cause burns.
• To reduce the risk of eye injury, do not stare at the exposed lamps in operation. In clinical or industrial applications where large banks of these lamps may be used, appropriate eye protection should be used when continual exposure is expected.
• Do not use this heat source near combustible materials (litter, paper, etc.) or materials adversely affected by heat or drying.
• Certain conditions beyond the manufacturer's control may cause the glass bulbs to crack or shatter. To prevent this, keep water, moisture, liquids, and metal objects away from the lamp, as contact may cause the glass to shatter. Do not use this lamp in wet or moist environments, including saunas, showers, bathrooms, or other areas where steam or moisture may accumulate.
• Avoid scratching, scraping, or striking the glass bulbs against a hard surface, as this could cause minute cracks. Do not use if any glass bulb is scratched, cracked, or touching accessory equipment.
• The Life-Brite IRed MAX Bulbs should only be used in properly rated fixtures specially designed for high-temperature lamps. Each fixture socket must be individually rated for a 150-watt or higher lamp. Using the IRed bulb in an improperly rated fixture may cause the fixture to overheat, posing a serious fire hazard.
