Golden Monk Black Tea (organic), 56g

This unusual black tea has a bright golden coppery liquor with a rich aroma, sweet taste, and tippy leaf.

This tea is sometimes called the “King of Panyong Congou” or more commonly Golden Monkey, and is grown in the upper reaches of the Wuyi mountains of Fujian Province, China.

This is a Special Tippy Orange Pekoe or STOP. In the tea world, a Tippy tea is a grade of exceptional quality and is reserved for teas which are only available in the first few weeks of the new growing season. Tea picked during this time is generally considered to be the most flavorful, and is highly sought after, making these teas more rare.
