Essiac Tea Brewing Instructions
Preparation (per 1 gallon)

1. Bring 1 gallon of fresh spring or distilled water to a rolling boil in a stainless steel pot.
2. Stir in 4 oz (by weight) of Essiac Tea. Cover the pot.
3. Boil for 10 minutes.
4. Remove from heat, stir, cover again, and let sit at room temperature for 12 hours.
5. Stir, cover, and bring back just to a boil. Remove from heat.
6. Strain through a fine mesh colander into clean containers. Funnel into amber glass bottles. Cap loosely and allow to cool fully, then tighten caps.
7. Refrigerate. The brew stays fresh for 2 to 3 weeks when properly refrigerated.

If you do not have a scale

• Standard Essiac blends: 4 oz by weight ≈ about 275 ml loose herb (≈ 1 ⅙ cups).
• Trinity blend: 4 oz by weight ≈ about 180 ml loose herb (≈ ¾ cup).

Directions for Drinking

1. Shake the prepared tea bottle well before each use.
2. Pour 2 fl oz of prepared tea into a cup.
3. Add 2 fl oz of freshly boiled spring or distilled water.
4. Drink 4 fl oz daily on an empty stomach, preferably before bedtime.

Storage and Notes

• Keep refrigerated between uses.
• Use clean bottles and utensils to maintain freshness.
• For best results, avoid aluminum cookware and plastic storage.
