Vibrational Healing Music, CD

Collector's Edition includes 8-page booklet featuring artist’s statement plus publisher’s note about Ohm, from its Vedic roots to its contemporary use as a sound healing frequency.

In this recording, composer de Muynck takes us to a blooming field on a mid-summer’s eve, where the warm drone of honeybees and the syncopated rhythms of crickets and cicadas surround. The elliptical and vibrational nature of this recording is mesmerizing-a dreamy sound wave of a world in harmony with the wider cosmos.

As our planet orbits the sun, a measurable vibration known as the Ohm frequency permeates every living organism. On Vibrational Healing Music, de Muynck takes you a therapeutic journey in her signature tuning of Ohm, known for its ability to soothe, balance, and rejuvenate. You will find yourself transported as your vibrational being harmonizes with the life affirming frequencies of the Earth. Running Time: 60:21

Theme

The familiar theme underlying this recording comes from the Largo movement of Dvorak's Symphony No. 9 (From the New World), chosen for its simplicity, beauty and familiarity, and for its ability to conjure the vast spaciousness and splendor of the American landscape.

From the Composer

Vibration characterizes all life forms. The vibrational rate or frequency at which every life form resonates is what gives it its own unique personality. On Vibrational Healing Music, I express this fundamental tone through the use of acoustic instruments and field recordings. No synthesized sounds have been used. Sound Engineer Dick Orr and I have layered the differing speeds or vibrational rates of live insect and animal sounds to create a totally unique drone-a beautiful textural palette whose myriad colors are derived from the harmonics and overtones heard within the spectrum of Ohm.

Deeply relaxing, ideal for shamanic journeying, stress reduction & pain management.Music harmonizes with the sound vibration of Ohm Tuning Forks, enhancing their effectiveness.
