Pattern: Cough as a Sequelae to External Wind-Cold with Phlegm; Tai Yang Zhong Feng with Phlegm; External contraction of wind cold fettering the lungs.
Chinese Symptomology: Coughing; Itchy throat; Maybe chills and fever or Mild fever or No chills or fever; Aversion to Wind; Aversion to Cold; Sore throat with Phlegm; Shortness of breath; Excessive sputum; Phlegm that is difficult to expectorate; Headache; Asthma
Contraindications: Contraindicated for those with cough due to Yin Deficiency. Contraindicated for those with cough due to Lung Heat. Contraindicated for those with cough due to Phlegm-Heat. Use with extreme caution if the cough is accompanied by Blood-streaked Phlegm.
