Xiao Huo Luo Dan (Minor Invigorate the Collaterals Special Pill) is a classical formula adapted for veterinary use. The formula disperses wind-cold-dampness, resolves phlegm, invigorates blood, unblocks the collaterals, and stops pain. It is one of the most widely used TCVM formulas for musculoskeletal conditions in dogs and horses, and is a primary formula for the treatment of intervertebral disc disease (IVDD), joint pain, and mobility impairment, particularly in cold-damp conditions.
