Si Jun Zi Tang is a foundational classical TCM formula that tonifies the qi and strengthens the Spleen.


Si Jun Zi Tang, translated as Four Gentlemen Decoction, is one of the foundational formulas in the entire TCM canon. It is the primary classical formula for Spleen qi deficiency and serves as the base from which many other tonic formulas are built. Its four ingredients work gently and synergistically to tonify the Spleen and Stomach qi

  • Tonifies and augments the qi -- particularly Spleen and Stomach qi
  • Strengthens the Spleen's digestive and transportive functions
