Cinnamon Bark is an herb that warms the interior and expels cold. It strongly warms the Kidney and Spleen, invigorates yang, and promotes the movement of qi and blood.
Primary Actions and Uses
- Warms the Kidneys and fortifies yang: For Kidney yang deficiency with cold in the lower back, knees, or extremities; frequent urination; impotence.
- Warms the Spleen, disperses cold, and alleviates pain: For cold-type abdominal pain, poor appetite, diarrhea.
- Warms the channels and unblocks them: For wind-cold-damp Bi syndrome with joint pain, especially in the lower body.
- Encourages the generation of qi and blood: For deep cold causing qi stagnation and blood stasis with amenorrhea, dysmenorrhea, or abdominal masses.
