Meridian Comfort is a Kan Herbals proprietary formula based on two classical antecedents: Gui Zhi Jia Ge Gen Tang (Cinnamon Twig Plus Kudzu Decoction) and Qiang Huo Sheng Shi Tang (Notopterygium Decoction to Overcome Dampness). The formula expels wind-cold-damp obstruction from the meridians, moves the blood, relaxes the sinews, and reestablishes the balance between Protective (Wei) Qi and Nutritive (Ying) Qi. It is indicated for stiffness, achiness, and restricted movement in the muscles, joints, and meridians arising from wind-cold-damp bi obstruction, particularly with concurrent blood stagnation.
