Releases pathogenic influences from the muscle layer and regulates the nutritive and protective qi.*
Gui Zhi Tang (Cinnamon Twig Decoction) is one of the oldest and most foundational formulas in the Chinese herbal tradition, drawn from Zhang Zhong-jing's Shang Han Lun, available in a 200g concentrated granule format. Indicated for wind-cold invasion in constitutionally deficient patients and for patterns of ying-wei disharmony, it is the classical base formula from which dozens of modifications in the Shang Han Lun tradition are derived. The 200g size supports extended clinical dispensing of this widely used foundational formula.
