Classical Pearls Serpent Pearls is an adaptation of the traditional remedy Wumei Wan, which is one of the key jueyin remedies found in the 2nd-century text, Treatise on Disorders Caused by Cold (Shanghan Lun). Jueyin syndrome represents the final and most complex of the six conformations described in this classic, typically characterized by persistent, complex disorders that involve multiple organs and exhibit intertwined symptoms of heat and cold. As such, Wumei Wan encompasses all five flavors of the herbal spectrum, combining both extremely hot and pungent herbs with very cold and bitter ones. While the jueyin approach can address a variety of chronic diseases, this formula has historically been used primarily for treating parasites. In recent years, its application has broadened to encompass a range of complex chronic conditions, especially those affecting the digestive system.

Classical Pearls are formulated according to the principles of classical alchemy by Heiner Fruehauf, Ph.D. They contain no pharmaceuticals, preservatives, dyes, yeasts, or added sugars and are independently tested for purity, identity, and the concentration of active ingredients during procurement, manufacturing, and importing.
