The design of Classical Pearls Golden Pearls integrates two traditional formulas: Guizhi Jia Gegen Tang (Cinnamon Twig Decoction plus Kudzu) from Zhang Zhongjing’s 2nd-century text Treatise on Disorders Caused by Cold (Shanghan lun), and Weijing Tang (Reed Decoction), a 7th-century anti-abscess formula from Sun Simiao’s Essential Formulas for Emergencies Worth a Thousand Pieces of Gold (Qianjin yaofang). This blend is intended for acute cases of pus formation in confined areas such as the sinuses or teeth, particularly in individuals with yang deficiency. These individuals often suffer from frequent infections but do not respond well to cooling, “antibiotic” treatments. Guizhi Jia Gegen Tang improves microcirculation in yang-deficient constitutions, while Weijing Tang and additional herbs gently address the acute heat-phlegm condition.
Classical Pearls are formulated according to the principles of classical alchemy by Heiner Fruehauf, Ph.D. They contain no pharmaceuticals, preservatives, dyes, yeasts, or added sugars and are independently tested for purity, identity, and the concentration of active ingredients during procurement, manufacturing, and importing. Their formulas use directly-sourced, wild-crafted, organic ingredients whenever possible and utilize full spectrum, 10:1 extracts for maximum clinical efficacy.

Formula Principles:
