Xuan Shen (Scrophulariae Radix) clears heat, cools blood, nourishes yin, and resolves toxicity, supporting patterns of yin deficiency heat and phlegm nodules. Sold by the pound, lab tested.
Xuan Shen (Scrophulariae Radix), also known as Scrophularia or Figwort Root, is a cold, bitter herb in the Chinese materia medica that both clears heat and nourishes yin. This dual action makes it particularly useful in patterns where heat has damaged the yin or where deficiency heat arises from yin insufficiency. It also resolves toxicity and disperses accumulations. This lot is lab tested for quality and purity.
