Jade Moon Phase 1, Regulate (8 oz)

The basis of... Jade Moon Phase 1, Regulate, is the well known formula Four Substance Formula with Saffron and Peach Kernal Tao Hong Si Wu Tang. Whereas formulas like Four Substance Formula and Four Substance Formula with Saffron and Peach Kernal can be used for a long time, use of Jade Moon Phase 1, Regulate should be limited since it's single focus is blood movement. We will prescribe this formula for 3 -4 days of use, the period flow should be diminishing or finished. The lining of the uterus should be smoothly restructured, the superficial layers of the previous cycle's lining removed and a smooth basis provided for the new lining will be built as soon as it is primed to do so by the estrogen. The ovary is already preparing to produce. If an attempt to conceive has not been made during the previous cycle or there is a definitive negative pregnancy test, then Phase 1 formulas can be commenced 2 or 3 days before the period and continued throughout the first 3 days of flow. In the case where menstrual bleeding is excessive or does not abate after a few days, this formula can be combined with the formula for heavy periods, Jade Restraint. If there is significant Qi or Blood deficiency be careful not to induce too much movement. Think about using Jade Moon Phase 1, Regulate in conjunction with a tonic formula such as Women's Precious (In the Kan Herbal product line) or Ten Treasures (in the Kan Traditionals product line). - Lyttleton
